Movement3 Therapy Series
Shoulder Girdle
The shoulder is arguably the most dextrose joint in the body. Unfortunately due to its position and dependence on the neck and thoracic region for neural innervation, the shoulder's integrity is often compromised if the rest of the chain is not moving as it should.
Lack of movement elsewhere in the chain will result in symptomatic conditions like frozen or dropped shoulders, impingement, golfers and tennis elbow etc.
Learn how to assess the movement of the shoulder and how the movement of the hips and spine drive and feed this wonderful joint.
Only once we understand what is affecting the shoulder can we effectively prescribe exercises to ensure that the hips, spine and shoulder are working harmoniously, and ensure that our treatment success is permanent.
